Like Tom we would likely believe that once acquitted we would go back to our lives, free to live unmolested, and the story would be worth several rounds of drinks down at the club -- after all we were found to be Not Guilty. However, in the last few decades this has never been the case. Our jobs are taken, our families are threatened, and our daughters are given introductions such as "You remember the Coroner Killer case? This is Angie, that guy's daughter..." all through college. Found Not Guilty has caused these victims of aggressive and inciting Press to be forced to move across the country, or even out of the country in order to find work, to keep their families safe, and unbranded, no matter how clearly innocent they were of their crimes.

I admit it. I'm guilty of loving this book although some parts really spooked me, but then, we all need a good spooking every now and then, right? Honestly, this WAS one of those books I didn't want to put down. My suggestion; put all the knives and saws away where they belong, leave at least one light on when you're reading it, and if you're lucky you won't hear any choppers flying overhead when you turn the last page.Product details
